About Cameron Critique

Built by founders who know the pressure of running a restaurant.

Two founders with deep experience in IT, AI and real-world business operations, building practical tools for the problems restaurant owners feel every day.

Our story

Cameron started from a practical problem. We opened a restaurant and quickly learned how difficult it is to keep standards high when you cannot physically be everywhere at once.

There were staff issues, service gaps, hygiene concerns, wasted time, wasted stock and the constant pressure of wondering what was happening when we were not on site. Like many businesses, we already had cameras. They recorded what happened, but they did not help enough while it was happening.

That experience shaped a simple ambition: make the information already visible in a business useful while it can still make a difference. With Cameron Critique, that starts with the plate in front of your team.

Why we built Critique

A restaurant's standard lives in the details: the right components, the presentation, the portion and the condition of the dish. Keeping those details consistent is difficult across busy services, different shifts and ever-changing teams.

Critique gives your team a practical way to check a dish against your own menu and reference photos. Send a plate photo to the Critique Telegram bot. Critique compares what is visible with your saved standard, highlights issues that need attention and keeps the result for you to review.

Experience behind the product

Across 25 years of entrepreneurial experience in IT and AI, we have worked with large, mission-critical transactional systems at enterprise level. That kind of work teaches you to value systems that are dependable, measurable and useful under real pressure.

We bring that mindset to Critique: a straightforward photo workflow for your team, useful feedback before service and a clearer view of patterns over time. You can start with your menu and a phone, without installing a camera system.

What we believe

Your restaurant should define its own standard. Technology should help your people apply it consistently and give managers useful context for improvement. It should be approachable enough to use during a real shift, with results you can inspect and decisions that remain in your team's hands.
