1. Agreement
These Terms apply to the Cameron Critique website, dashboard, Telegram bot, dish assessment service and related support provided by Cameron. By creating an account or using Critique, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for that business.
2. The Cameron Critique service
Critique compares submitted plate photos with your menu information and saved reference photos. It helps your team spot visible differences, review results and follow trends. Your account's package and permissions determine which features are available.
You provide and maintain the menu, descriptions and reference photos. Where available, automatic reference collection is an optional setting. A collected reference is not itself a completed grade or an independent confirmation that the dish meets your standard.
3. Accounts, people and Telegram
You are responsible for your account, the people you add, their location access, Telegram links, settings and recipients of reports. Keep credentials secure, use accurate details and promptly remove access that is no longer appropriate.
Photo submission currently uses the Critique Telegram bot and requires a linked Telegram account and the appropriate permissions. Telegram is a separate service governed by its own Terms of Service. Its availability, message handling and limits can affect the Critique workflow.
4. Lawful use and customer content
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload your menu, documents, photos and staff information, and to let us process them to provide Critique. Give any required privacy and workplace notices. Use staff reports lawfully and review their context before making decisions.
Do not upload unlawful content, malicious files or unnecessary sensitive personal information. Do not attempt to bypass permissions or usage limits, interfere with the service or access another customer's information.
5. Your data and privacy
You keep ownership of your customer content, including menus, photos, business settings and assessment records. You grant Cameron the limited rights needed to store, copy, transmit and process that content to provide, maintain, secure and support your account.
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, AI and other service-provider processing, Telegram, retention, exports and deletion. We do not sell your customer data or use it for third-party advertising.
Photo retention currently defaults to 365 days, with exceptions for active references, retained assessment evidence, existing settings and legal holds. Historical scores and records can outlast their photos. Removing a menu item does not erase its assessment history. Keep your own copies of anything you need beyond the service's retention period.
6. AI results and human decisions
Identification, scores, feedback and menu imports are AI-assisted and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Review imported menus and reference photos. Results depend on the photo, available reference material, menu information and assessment settings, and do not guarantee that every issue will be found.
A visual assessment cannot establish food safety, internal temperature, hidden ingredients, allergens or contamination. A passing assessment is not a food-safety certification. Your team remains responsible for food handling, allergen controls, checking dishes and deciding what to serve.
Reports describe submitted samples and saved staffing context; they are not proof of who prepared every plate or a complete assessment of an employee. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for significant employment decisions.
7. Fees and evaluation balances
Prices, package allowances and any agreed recurring terms are those shown or agreed when you order. Payment is currently arranged with the Cameron team, and evaluation units are loaded after payment is confirmed. Selecting a package or creating an account does not itself add evaluations.
Loaded prepaid evaluations are shared across your account's locations. Each top-up expires 30 days after it is loaded, independently of other top-ups. Unused units in an expired top-up are no longer available. Maintain enough available evaluations for continued grading; a zero balance can pause evaluations.
The applicable allowance and any charge for a requested re-evaluation follow the Critique workflow. Fees and unused balances are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing. Nothing in these Terms overrides mandatory consumer rights.
8. Availability, changes and termination
We aim to provide a reliable service, but processing and delivery can be delayed or unavailable because of maintenance, outages, provider limits, Telegram or other events beyond our control. We may improve or change features over time.
You may stop using Critique or request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access for non-payment, misuse, security concerns or a material breach of these Terms. Ending access does not remove legal obligations relating to payments or data we must retain.
9. Our software and intellectual property
Cameron's software, website, dashboard, branding, designs and service technology belong to Cameron or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that technology to you. Third-party software components remain subject to their applicable licences.
Your menu and other customer content remain yours, subject to the limited processing rights above.
10. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Critique is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, identification of every dish, detection of every issue or any particular business outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cameron will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded and a settlement cannot be reached, it will be determined by a court. These Terms do not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will update the date above and give notice of material changes where appropriate. Changes apply from their stated effective date, subject to applicable law and any existing agreement with you.
Questions about Critique, these Terms, payments or your account can be sent through the Cameron Critique contact form.
In brief: Use Critique lawfully, keep your account and menu under control, maintain an available evaluation balance and review important results. Your team remains responsible for the dishes you serve.
